    Looking for information on the best EOBR or Automatic E-log devices. Does anyone have an good/bad experiances with any particular brand. I move from several trucks on a daily basis so am looking for something portable and cost affective for a small company. Anyone using a phone app?

    EOBR's require they be hooked to an ECM.
    But you may be able to use something like Drivers Daily Log (DDL) hooked to a GPS for some sort of an AOBR set up.

    My guy is looking at a Blackberry application. The holster is hooked to the truck but it's still a phone...... more to come.

    Our lead instructor has a Motorla DROID that he uses. I said that I read that it had to be tethered and he replied that the docking station in tethered and he just docks the phone before starting the truck.
