How do I stop knocks on my door at night?

Who said anything about getting horny? That's very rude and presumptuous to think that. Yes, i'm interested in lesbians because i find they are interested in me. We understand each other i think. In fact i almost slept with a lesbian last year(i mean think about it---i'm male yet i was going to sleep with a lesbian---i think that shows an ability to connect), but this is another topic.

i was simply fascinated by this phenomenon because:

a) the fact that another woman would approach another woman to solicit sex---for money. i mean does the hooker think that this woman is so horny that she would actually pay for it? The fact that this phenomenon exists makes me think that yes, it does happen.

b) the fact that a woman would pay to sleep with someone. Again, in reference to above, apparently it does happen. Albeit rarely.

Please do not get creeped out; i have an attraction to lesbians, but more in d...tyke way---sort of like how some women love gay men. In fact, it rarely turns me on to watch 2 women because i think it's boring.

 

Just watched a First 48 episode the other night featuring a Trucker who was murdered in Memphis. Driver was sleeping at a customers dock, 3 am, two guys decide to rob him, knock on the door, driver gets up to see who's there, gets his head blown off with a sawed off..Someone knocks on my door, I aint answering. They start breaking in, im out the other door and gone..

I usually just slam open the vent in the wall or slide the window open and yell "WHAT??" No need to get up. Or if no vents or windows pound on your wall and yell what.

You have gotten their attention and even a response and you yell again "GO AWAY" and that's the end of it.

To lay in bed and hide isn't the smartest thing as pointed out. It could be an emergency or another company driver needing you or maybe help. Again yell and they will hear.

Get a motorcycle ratchet strap and run it between the doors of the truck. The only way anyone is going to get through the doors will be to break out the window and then cut the strap then unlock the door or climb in the door, which, unless you become comatose while asleep they will be the one in a bad tactical position unless they have a firearm. If they are hanging inside your window your tire billy, short crowbar, ball peen hammer, ratchet bar, or dog will be taking care of business and your cell call with 911 on the other end as you are talking loudly where you are whats happening and they are taping this as you are beating said moron criminal in the head or your dog is eating their face off will pretty much cover you from any counter charges by the police!

i know too well. You got that right. It was all my fault---she agreed to actually go to bed but i was too pushy and she shut me down totally. i was stupid. This is a very intricate subject and i may spill it all in another post because we're getting off topic.

i basically failed to convert her so i apologize to all men.

 

were the hell do all these stories come from? i park in the darkest emptiest rest stops and i park on isolated parts of the interstates and i nearly allways park in the back row of truck stops. i do this cos im one of those people who is a bit crap at backing up.... i dont mind admitting it either... im still working on it ;p I havent been bothered once!

 

it's people like you that gives conceal carry such a bad rap. There's a level of responsibility that goes with CC that I honestly doubt you have the intelligence or common sense to comprehend.

to the OP, get up and look at who is banging on your door, the movement of the truck and the curtain (don't let them see you) will let them know someones home, but not interested. I've only had door bangers in ###### truck stops, maybe try parking in better lit, more typical big truck stops.( Pilot, Loves, J, Petro, etc...)

and do not, under any circumstances, let them know your female.

 

Carrying a firearm has always made me more careful and less likely to put myself in a risky area, mostly due to the heightened sense of responsibility I feel when carrying. I've even been robbed twice, once in Charlotte NC, and the other time in Charleston SC. Both times I was armed, but got caught off guard and decided to just empty the wallet and call it a day, as I didn't think it was worth the risk to draw in those situations.

Once, in Ft Worth, at the Circle K truckstop, I was sitting in the front seat, finishing a simple cleaning of my .357, when my door flew open... yeah, no provision to lock from the inside on that truck, and I eventually learned to key lock it by reaching out the window, then figured out the ratchet strap trick.
Anyway... my door flew open, and an emaciated young thing levered her way into my lap, catching the front sight of my just-reloaded revolver on her belly button. She looked down, then her eyes became big as saucers when she looked back up at me. "You got ten dollas?"
I shook my head slowly and tilted my head toward the door, and she slid back out the way she'd come, breaking into a run as soon as she hit the asphalt.
A minute later, I saw the reason she was so desperate to get out of sight: a local PD cruiser was making his way through the lot, looking between the trucks. Who knows... he mighta been moonlighting as a pimp, and she owed him money. After that, I do most of my cleaning at home, or at worst, in the sleeper (they're so much bigger and well equipped since then).

 

some of the stories of this are way over blown. the problem is very slight compared to what it used to be. back in the day it happened more often than now, but it still wasnt an everynight occurence. some places frankly are much worse. present day example, bruces truckstop off weedpatch hwy exit in bakersfield , ca. got door pounded 4 times there couple of weeks ago, moved to the flying j north of town for the next nights stay, but there i was approached twice by silver dollar sellers.

its not a huge problem, but happens occasionally. and on another note, how the heck are you guys so picky about parking????? you all must be the drivers of all these solar powered trucks that have to park before dark , and have to get that parking up close because ya to scared to get out of the truck.

but for the concealed carry expert, your cc permit isnt valid in every state you may travel to, need to make sure you clarify that.
