Ive pulled curtainside, flat and van. Van is the only way to go after doing them all. And dont tell me you do flat/curtain because you like to work for your paycheck.
Ill take it from the rear all day in a van. :biggrin_2559:

TThey were fillin holes at 15th street today. Not much better but the wheel benders. Lol. How's the miles? Contemplating a return. If I get close on miles I might as well get paid more for em! Lol

Flatbedders do it with straps and chains. Vansies like it in the rear.

I've been considering going back to Roehl doing flatbed midwest regional. Anyone know how the miles are on that? Flatbed always seemed to have a more consistent schedule than vans, since you normally had to deliver at jobsites and what not during the day so you could sleep at night. After hoofin' cases at Coke for the past 2.5 years those tarps don't seem so daunting or heavy. Plenty of days hand unloading 30,000lbs of pop on a cart and handling it two or three times each delivery and strapping and bungees don't seem so hard anymore. :)

I used to work at coke too. Granted it was 12 yrs ago, but my opinion is coke was easier. Not easy, but easier. Not to mention home everyday. I did that about a year then went to work in the warehouse. Now there's a lot of handling soda! Lol

I go to rdtc on July 18th. Going to national flatbed division. I have been wanting to drive truck for years and am finally going to do it. Hope to see some of you on the road soon!
