Do you keep all of the videos that you make? I am thinking about getting a dash camera specifically for safety purposes. You must have a decent hard drive with a large amount of space for your vids.

Yes i save everything but the crap, all raw video and uploaded videos are saved.
I have a Bissness Class HP, i'll have to upgrade as my videos get more detailed.
As for the dash cam, its hit or miss for that purpose, They can prove you in the right but allot of the time it will be used against you. There have been quite a few companies that have put them in their trucks for that reason (local fuel haulers) and have taken them out because in accidents it made their driver look worse lol.
But they do make camera kits just for that reason with a hard drive that loops every 7 days...
American TruckerJimDriv3r Thanks this. -
I guess that you have a good point there. Never would I have thought that something like a dash cam could be used against a driver BUT.......have you ever seen how those tank drivers drive down the highway? With the way that they drive, it seems as though they are exempt from all federal and local laws. Especially hazmat tank drivers. Those guys fly down the mountains out here with a total disregard for the posted suggested speed through many curves. So I can see how the vids are used against them.

I would like to create a program where my real-time speed limit shows up on the video, but I can already hear folks questioning the accuracy of the video. Interesting place this has become. -
