To insure you just went through the roof. You are a high risk to the insurance company, and the rates will skyrocket now, and the company has to pay a lot more. So, Adios. Watch out when you get back, they might just can ya still.

First reply disappeared, so trying it again.

Yes things like this do happen to drivers, especially newbies at the training companies.

You signed a contract, and they will expect you to pay them the amount on the contract for not fullfilling it. I don't know of anyone who them left early, on their own, or with a boot behind them, that din't get billed. They will take it to collections as well.

Stuff happens, I'm not criticizing you for the speeding, you missed the signage and got popped.

As for the termination and them not telling you, someone goofed up, either way. If you do get it turned around and get to go with them, be very careful in the future, be very careful anyway driving for anyone. Good luck to you.

maybe for you northern brother, but before they raised it I passed them all the time in my company regulated 63 MPH truck with no problem other than a warning ONCE.

Actually it started when you started to drive for CRST. Personally if they terminated you because of the ticket count it as a blessing..

Now the real problem will come trying to find a new job, with a speeding ticket on your record..

The standard advice it to take some kind of corrective action like a refresher course try to get the ticket reduced or dismissed.. If it doesn't show as a speeding ticket on your DMV you are better off.

Now if CRST didn't terminate you, and only they can tell you that, tell you want a truck. Call the operations manager if you have too..

Personally I'd walk away from them as a lesson learned.
