Forgot to say that when I delivered last night I found out I could have delivered today....but there is a little truckstop just back down the road so that's where I spent the night.
Now I have a PU about 85 miles away that delivers in Ft. Worth on the 28th.......maybe I'll be in Irving tomorrow night and can go pester Dodd Thursday morning....LOL

Fuel stops are easy to move, they will never give you any issue over it. Just a phone call

Thanks for making more sense than I did, Flood...LOL...I have had to call and get my fuel stop changed because I either missed it or flat out didn't want to stop there because it's a hard place to get into.

I'm here at Tunnel Hill, GA. Today's my last day of orientation. We still don't know if we have the job but the fact that I'm still here give's me hope.
Very cool thing last night to meet Craig. He was driving the US Xpress shuttle and gave us our ride to Walmart. I had been following he and Anne's blog and posts and he had given me some great advice on here for a few weeks before starting orientation. He and Anne are great examples of where a positive attitude can take you. Thanks for the ride Craig and great to meet you in person!!

Sitting here in Olive Branch pick are load tomorrow morning at 0100 and back to Dallas Fort Worth area. Training is going good. I could really get used to have an auto shift. Its nice. I was going to try and do laundry today, but only one washer works. I could always take it back outside and do my wash its pouring out today.

Wow Spaces....I just missed you...I left out of Tunnel Hill on Monday about 5:30.
Went to get my load, yesterday, along with 4 other USX drivers, and we are all headed for Ft. Worth...LOL...They got in and out, I got stuck for at least another 90 minutes, making it a total of 6 hrs being there. Made it just east of Birmingham last night and woke up this morning to the truck rocking & rolling....found out I was right in the middle of a tornado and bad thunderstorm area. It didn't last long but there was a lot of damage coming down the 20/59 south of Birmingham.
Didn't make it to Irving like I wanted to....am just inside TX....wore out because it was a very bumpy ride with 44K+ in the box and bad roads....little over 500 miles. -
We are at our Son's home in Chattanooga. Huge freaking storm and power has been out all day. 150 foot oak tree in the front yard exploded and blocked the road. Trees and power lines down all over the city. Interesting day. Power will be out for many days.
