New Jersey, still? I'm in Idaho headed to "the woodz" in MT mañana.

 

It was one of those days where the streets seemed to get smaller and smaller.....and then BAM! There was the Petro sign. Needless to say, that place was an absolute crap hole. I was glad to get away from THAT place! I think that if gentrification were to occur over there, that place would still be an undesirable hell hole.

 

Being that I work for a small outfit, I'll post here unless you guys would rather me not..... In Madison, GA... Deliver in Atlanta, GA at 0900 tomorrow.

I figured since I hang out in the W/S threads all the time, this might be okay..... Let me know if it's not.

not still.....again!

I left NJ Tuseday morning and went and delivered stop 1 on CT, then sat in RI all night, then this morning i delivered that last stop in MA then went to NH and reloaded to go to NJ, then droped that load and hooked and mt and am here waiting for my 1pm load apt tomorrow in PA going to NC for a fri morn delivery.

I saw my first tornado today!!!!!

I'm down here in AL in the belly of the beast...I was on 78S, turned on my wx radio and heard of a tornado in the area then the rain and hail started...Thankfully...It got so bad I had to slow from 65 to 45 and as soon as I broke out of torrential rain, there was the tornado crossing the road less than a mile in front of me...This was at 5:19pmCDT at exit 121....AMAZING!!!!!!...It crossed so fast it was out of sight in 30 seconds...If I hadn't had to slow up, I may have been right in it...

Then I get to Birmingham and a tornado had just devasted a hotel and neighborhood, worst destruction I've ever seen up close, I took video which I am going to try and upload shortly...THEN I'm finally thru that and on 20 at exit 147 and hear about another tornado crossing 20 between exits 152 and 161...I pulled over with the other 100 trucks and waited for 20 minutes then proceeded to exit 165 to a TS to park...CRAZIEST DAY I've ever had....

I saw my first tornado last year in Colorado on I-76 near Denver. Pretty scary sight to see a funnel cloud make a touchdown!

Was the pucker factor thru the seat cushion? Mine would have been, I could have. Een right down there in it, except they offered a load to SLC and I took it. Be Safe.
