it may be a crappy time to start out---but i have a feeling--if he is ratting out trainers---3--- you think it might be the trainee problem and not the trainer

Sure doesn't make sense to me, anyway, to go back to a company that screwed me the way CRST did it to this guy. There are plenty of bottom feeders out there, CRST is one of many.

AHHH YA THINK!!:biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559: work smarter not harder! To the OP. You've been makeing it harder for yourself than it has to be. 15 min. is nothing! If that's what your trainer wants then do it and if it bothers you so much log an hr WHEN YOU GET YOUR OWN TRUCK

I feel better that CRST took the time to make you get a diagnosis before you came out here, fell asleep, and ran over my friends or relatives. You seem to be blaming CRST for the fact that your neck size is too big???? Personal choices combined with genetics have caused your sleep apnea, NOT CRST. Blame them for possibly saving your life & the lives of others!

First off let me tell you that the qualifications to become a CRST trainer is quite low. They will allow any fool and his brother to become a trainer, all you need is your CDL for 6 months and a winter to become a trainer. So say you got your CDL in August you can become a trainer in February. Six months on the road and according to them you can train another rookie. I don't know about you, but Rookies training Rookies don't sound like the best idea.

so yall seem to have a problem about reporting a driver thats more focused on texting on his cellphone than focusing on driving his #### rig. But let me warn you, when your in Michigan don't go crying when the DOT up there uses handheld gadgets called "extraction devices" on your cell phone to make sure your not sending texts while your driving.

Proof of my claims are as follows:
    http://www.businessinsider.com/data-pirates-aka-cops-can-hack-your-cell-phone-2011-4
    http://www.tgdaily.com/opinion/55497-opinion-michigan-cops-imposing-a-digital-police-state

as for that second trainer, by your responses you seen to have no problem with a driver, who while driving is trying to engage in cooking with their slow-cooker while doing 60+ mph. How ever I should consider my self lucky, cause the safty department informed me that 2 weeks after getting off that trainer's rig he had a major accent.

As for "cheating" on my logbooks, are you going to pay for my ticket the DOT gives me. all you need is that one ### hole cop watching a truckstop waiting to pick someone off for a logbook violation. With how broke the states are and with that CSA2010 kicking in those #### cops are more than happy to find any way to give you a ticket. Even if that means sitting at a truck stop with a stop watch and pulling you over a few miles down the road and check your books along with anything else they deem fit.

I'm sorry but this is how to properly log your work. Otherwise you'll make $200 a week and be lucky to drive 2000 miles a week.

I'm all about logging it legal but if it takes you more than 15 mins to fuel you are in the wrong business!

If your behind the wheel waiting on the shipper, you mark it as On Duty Not Driving. That is how I was trained at the school, not CRST, you mark it as On Duty not driving. When it comes down to this, driving a semi, I try to do things by the book so I don't have to give money out over ######## fines or have to worry about losing my #### job.

Because of my trainer, yea i've had to spend up 30 minutes at a truckstop to get fuel and wait for his sorry ### to get back to the #### truck. Mind you that was the second trainer i had. Blasted fool couldn't help to hit on every thing that lacked a dick. Now i'm no drop dead stud my self, but i know when not to waste time on a woman at a truck stop.

Been there done that with them. My wife and I had good and bad with CRST but we ended up leaving and found good opportunities since then we have loved.

Good luck with everything and be safe!
