I Only drove one for a few months, and had nothing but electrical problems.

    Worst kw I ever saw.

I bought a 97 in 2000 ,sold it in 2008, very few problems untill it hit the ten year old mark, Ecm needed to be replaced. But that is about the life span of an ecm. My only complaint was the in heavy winds the doors would get noisy. I replaced a few actuators in the hvac system for the blend doors. But for the most part trouble free.

Its a old design that gets bad mileage and has no room in the sleeper. The seats are too close too.

    But, it looks cool!

I was dead set on getting a T2000 or 387. When I was driving my Century I was drooling all over these trucks. Then I drove several '06's with good specs. I was not impressed at all. Couldn't put my finger on it but the interior layout seemed small despite having the same space specs as my Century.

When I started looking at the 780's I talked with the head mechanic at my local Volvo/KW dealer. He was a fan of the 387 from over all reliability standpoint but said that overall many of the drivers don't like them.

I will say that when I was looking it seemed the 387 held more value than the 2000.
