I would agree with AT, you'd make a good trainer. I've watched your videos but didn't realize you posted on here. There's not many guys out there that don't approach their job in a negative way, and that's not the makings of a good trainer. Trainer is a term and a position that should be appointed to someone who enjoys what they're doing, enjoys who they work for, and will take the time to make sure whoever it is in their truck gets a full on education from the get go, you seem to fit those needs for Millis. A few more guys out on the road with "proper" training wouldn't hurt anyone.

I appreciate the kind words. But man I'll really have to work on my patience. I seemed to have lost most of that after 3 kids and a divorce LOL!

God help us! LOL just kidding. I say go for it if that's what you want to do. You have the personality for it, and thus far I think you've proven to be a good driver. From us talking personally I think you would do just fine and provide a quality training program for new drivers.

I FINALLY (after 1 year or trying) met Spanky in Trenton the other day. Was great to finally meet you. Also got to hang out with Bear/Ryeman and another driver that for the life of me, I cant remember his name. Also got to see my old trainer for a little bit.

Was like a family reunion......disfunctional family to say the least but still family!

Rolled out of Randolph MASS this morning and shut down for the night in Winchester, VA as I am out of hrs for the day. Need a re-set bad!!! Hope to get that in starting tomorrow when I get to Eden.

Miles have been off and on the past few weeks - last week was good over 3K but the past few prior have been between 2500 and 2900.

I sat and finished my spreadsheet logging all miles driven since I went solo on July, 20th 2010 and I am at 119,218 and I still have about 2 months left on that goal. Should be able to end up the first year with about 140K+ in miles........not too bad I guess!

Only 28 more days to my 1 year anniversay with Millis. Hopefully can stop paying that hotel and training expense LOL!

Hope everyone is well - have been way too busy and tired to post too much lately. I'll get this caught up soon!

The payback time is 20 months I thought, for the classroom portion anyway? I could be wrong but I believe that's what they told me in the beginning. The OTR time with the trainer is done at 1 year I believe.

Congrats on your first year there Baritone. If my calculations are correct, and I did not include any bonus money, unload pay, etc. you received, you grossed a pretty good amount of money for your first year of driving. Awesome. Glad to see things are going good for you at Millis.

Thanks - I am very happy here and know that things are not always perfect but they do a good job to keep me happy. I in-turn run hard to make their customers happy! LOL!

I'll add things up once I hit the 1 year in a few weeks.

Hope everyone is well - I'll update in the next few days as I dont seem to have the time lately to add too much.

Hopefully one day soon I will be running with you guys. All of you that work for Millis (that are on TTR) have great attitudes. I wish I was already out there with you guys!
