This will be a life changing experience for me. How should I prepare for sitting in a truck with a perfect stranger for a coupla weeks. Any tips on how to shut up listen and drive without freaking out? Yes I'm a female. :biggrin_25526:I primarly dont want a trainer who doesnt smoke and who isnt a pervert. Who is patient and who takes my learning as seriously as I am.

I would try and request a female trainer, if you can.
I trained for a year and the male/female thing could lead to problems for both you and the trainer.
Not always, but the potential is there.
I see you're from PHX, are you going with Swift?

I'm weighing all my options Paddington. Check out my blog when you have the chance...w/s, werner, swift, may, gordon. im rolling the dice and hoping it'll all work out for the best. i want to see the country but i would prefer to be able to take the truck home. I'm starting school next week so im getting the butterflies and last minute jitters. Thanks for your reply

You are about to embark on an adventure. It is not a marriage, just a short time together. You will either hate your trainer or love him/her. His/her word means everything, yours means nothing. Just grin and bear it, time will fly by. Best of luck.
