Hi from Ca. welcome to the forum......
-
Wlcome aboard and to your ol man as well.
-
Why thank you
Are you a Shriner, or just have the name? -
I actually think I just answered my own question after looking at your friends list
I am OES ... #212 St. Anthony Park, MN actually ... I just recently moved back to TN from MN so we may have some common friends if you're in the cities!shriner75 Thanks this. -
Welcome Jinni, glad you found us! Say "hey" to Rick for us next time he blows by the house!
-
Actually I am 60 miles west of Mpls./St. Paul. So if you are OES then I would assume that you are a daughter of a mason or your hubby is one?
-
My exhusband was, yes - I have other family that are Masons but I became OES with his connection, he's from #263 in Roseville and he's Minneapolis Scottish Rite. Well, I believe he took a demit from SR but I'm not sure, I haven't spoken to him about it the last few times we've talked (he's still one of my best friends, we just got married too young sadly)
Rick's grandfather is a PM from the Humboldt, TN lodge and his Uncles are all masons here in TN and in AR so he has been wanting to petition the last couple years but doesn't think he'd be able to get home for the degrees - I told him there are ways around it and if he wants he should definitely pursue it, so I am confident he will be doing that soon also
-
I surely will
He's happy that I found this site, it's nice to have someone to talk to while I sit at home while he's out ... makes it feel like I have someone around lol

You know the first step to look is at the local lodge. He could get somebody's email and email them the situation of him being gone. I know in MN they have one day to masonry classes for guys in such situation as Rick. They are able to work with him, Im sure. As toung as I am (35) I was 32 when I was master of my lodge. With my work schuedule I have been unable to attend lodge in such a while but I still keep my dues up to date. Good luck to you guys.
