    i have a old 855 big cam that needs the over head ran bad i was wondering what the best way to do it is it has engine brakes on it to seems like i rember something about letters on the assecery drive pully but not real sure how to go threw it all i think the valve clearance is .011int and .023ex and 6in pounds on the injector but just cant remember how to do it thanks for any input yall might have

    Somebody will come along and tell you the exact procedure pretty soon I'm sure. Its been a couple years since I've messed with a Cummins but Line the letters up on the accessory drive with the marker on the front cover. A=cyls 1&6, B=cyls 2&5 and C=cyls 3&4. One or the other will be on TDC and adjust that cyl. Should have to just make 2 full revolutions. Also the lash measurements should be on the info tag.

    Sorry for the kinda shetchy info. Its been a while, but that there, I do remember. Only pushrod motor Ive seen in years is the MBE's.

    so no one nows how to run the overhead on the old cummins
