I left him a voicemail saying I know he's a fraud. I also told him to stay away from me and my family. I doubt I'll hear from him again. Frauds don't like it when they've been discovered. And yes, I do carry pepper spray. I will notify Schneider first thing in the morning.
Met a con man on the road!

Just a little head's up. If you get to talking to someone and they want to exchange phone numbers and social security numbers....don't do it!

You know, Google has a phone service now. It might still be in beta but apply for it and they'll get to you before long. They give you a phone number that connects over the net. You can forward it to your phone number and give people the google number instead. You have to pay to make outbound calls, but inbound is free. I think you can change the number for free whenever you want. Comes with free voicemail that will change the voice recording into text and send it to your email.
I have a number but I haven't played with it yet. Worth checking out for some extra protection. -
