Wow, sorry Flatbed! I have been in orientation all week and didn't even check the forum! I got a nice new 2011 Cascadia. Loading up today and should have a load out this morning. Signed the lease yesterday. Now my big concern is making sure I can keep the DEF thing full. They told us this little 13-gal tank only gets about 400 miles. I usually don't fuel that often, but now I have to fuel at least every 400 and HOPE there is DEF at the pump - or else have to lug it out in 2.5 gal jugs. Great to get up to 8mpg on fuel... and now that we have learned how to save money on fuel, we get another expense! I hear "most" Pilots now have DEF at at least one pump (hope I pull up at the right one!), and that TA/Petro are GETTING them.

Thanks for the update , looking at a couple new trucks and CASCADIA is on the list
-
DEF about 1 gl for 400mi of driveing.kingsson Thanks this. -
Congrats Kingsson! Did you have fun reading through the lease agreement?
-
Of course! This is my third lease with Prime, so not much has changed, really!
-
Thanks! I asked around the terminal and that is about the average I was hearing. I swear the guy at orientation said 400 for a whole tank! 400mpg sounds MUCH better! -
Now if the OTHER stuff in the BIG tanks would get that MILEAGE
-
do they usually have new trucks when you decide to go lease i know they say what ever they have is what you get to pick from
-
It's a bit of a crapshoot. We have a yard full of new trucks sitting out there, but they only get added to the fleet for one of 2 reasons:
A. Replacing a truck that is leaving the fleet.
B. Adding to the number of trucks operating in the fleet.
