I lost my Mother last June 11th. Since then I have spoken to my Father twice a day. Usually first thing in the Morning and then in the evening.
I spoke with him on Monday evening before I went to bed. I could not get him all day Tuesday and was very concerned. I was up In PA near the Ohio border with a load going to Cincinnati Ohio.
After I was praying for him on Tuesday evening, I had the clearest thought ever in my mind. It said. "He is up here with Me now"
I went to bed and awoke at 1:00 and headed toward Cincinnati. Marengo is right on the way. I decided that If I could not reach him by the time I got to my home truck stop, I was going to take off.
I could not reach him so I called extended services.
I called my wife and could not reach her. I called my daughter and could not reach her. I kept trying the whole 4.5 miles that I had to walk to get home to get my car.
I drove back to the truck with a cooler to get the food out of the refrigerator and grabbed some clothers. It was 150 miles to my dads house between Manchester Ohio and West Union.
When I pulled into the driveway his car was there so I was relieved that no one had hijacked him while he was out shopping.
The door was locked so I went into the shed to get the key. I could not find it.
I tried a window and then remembered that he gave a key to his neighbor.
When I went into the house his dog met me at the door. He was not in the living room so I headed towards the bedroom. There he was still in bed where he had gone to sleep on Monday evening.
I was so relieved that he had not fallen and been laying there struggling.
He was my best friend, my hero, My Dad!
He will be greatly missed!
I love you Mom and Dad! -

My guess would be he's assessing the storm damage to his secret underground electronic problem causing wooden nickel factory and forgot to put his cell phone in the pocket of his mad scientist labcoat, or possibly, he has Verizon and coverage underground isn't that great. lol Jim

Like Ed says, "Don't study for the drug test"
be safe
