Ol' Hand...that is the problem in a nutshell. Thats why I said a year as a second seat driver with an older ( million mile) driver as lead. This could correct a lot of the bad habits learned in cars. That alone could raise the quality of the drivers overall ( at least in the industry) I do find it interesting that all these so called "safety advocates" such as CRASH and PATT et al, have no desire( much less a plan) to address overall driver education in the General Motoring Public. BY the way even if the FMCSA 50% accident rule(50% the cmv's fault/50% the 4 wheelers fault) is used...we are at fault only 10% of overall fatal accidents. That means that the rest of the time the GMP are killing themselves off. Yet the silence from the safety groups is deafening.
