Let this be a lesson to everyone. If you ever decide to retire from trucking, it is ALWAYS a bad thing. Something had to have gone wrong, no matter how much money you were making or how happy you were with the company.

    Point: DONT EVER RETIRE

    HA!!! :biggrin_2559:

Well, only if you want to not have failed! I think the new rules are that you have to die behind the wheel of a rig in order for something to have NOT been bad about the company.

    dabs and Alanp613 Thank this.

There are a lot of bad things about JCT, as well with a lot of trucking companies. The good things out weigh the bad. But thanks for the opportunity to let me think about going back, but I don't think so( as he sit's on his front porch, enjoying the nice Carolina sun, with the nice sea breeze)

One of three things happened: (1) He got popped at a scale one time too many running team loads as a solo driver. (2) He got within 3 months of lease completion and got fired for log violations that were accepted and encouraged up to now. (3) His wife's health has changed.

I dearly hope, God, his wife's health has not changed for the worse.

I disagree. I think LMB just finally decided to retire and be done with it. Nothing wrong with that. If anyone reads the entire thread you'll see that LMB doesn't HAVE to drive, having had several businesses, I would assume that he has income from other sources right now.

Can't a man retire without people coming up with questions that belittle the driver or the company? Especially from someone that drives for (Sure Wished I Finished Training)

Don't think Injun was belittling. Think she was throwing a little sarcastic humor in here that is needed sometimes. Sides LMB CAN'T BE belittled cause he's the KING!!! :biggrin_25514:
