Con-Way is a forced dispatch company, which means that they do and will send you to NYC when they need you to go there. Con-way, when I was there, kept their teams rolling.

There's going to be the occasional time when you're sitting for a short time - every company experiences that, but it won't be often.

Con-Way is a good company overall. My problem with them was that they were really cracking down on idle times and my #'s were above their target. The last 6 months that I was with them they had me running along I-10 and generally in the SE about 95% of the time. You know, the areas where it's 100 deg at midnight! Anyway, as a team you won't have that problem to worry about.

Survived my week at Crowder boot camp. The skid pad and the rest of the training was great. Waiting here in Joplin for a trainer and finish up in e-logs and qualcomm. Feel like I'm lucky to be here in more ways than one. Prayers to all the people here affected by the tornado here in Joplin. It's hard to believe that places I was just in last week, are gone. Lots of insurance and electric company people checking into hotel now. Cell service is spotty.

Thought I saw Injun's truck at Lazy Boy in Neosho,MO last week....is that true?
