Here at Sage they gave us an envelope to take to the DMV when we went in to get our permit. Inside was a check for the amount of the permit and skills test. Like someone else said, leave it closed and take it with you at the end of your course to the skills/road test. The school may even want to hold on to it until your appointed testing date.

Its probubly the 3rd party form that the school uses to test you at the end of class. Same thing they use at the DOT office for testing your driving skills and PTI. Does your school do independent testing or do you have to go to the DL office and test with state troopers. If school test you then 9 times out of 10 that is whats in the envelope.

 

If I had to guess I would say the envelope has the forms whoever gives you your skills test will use. I would advise against tampering with it.

 

It's your permanent record...you know that one they talked about when you were in the Principal's office in school when he said "This is going on your permanent record, young man!"
