    Quit your whining.
The implication was pretty clear. For the sake of a "y", you said what scarecrow said you did.

mis-quoting or not PROPERLY quoting some one is a despicable/ignorant act unto itself...

Your acting as if I used the quote button and then changed your words.

All I did was paraphrased what you wrote early on in this thread AS I INTERPRETED IT.

Hate to tell you this, but that's not against the forum's TOS.

Reporting my post was a waste of both yours and the mod's time.

In this case, the quotation marks don't represent a direct quote, but the intent taken by the person(s) in it's meaning. When there is a direct quoting system in use and available to all users, quotation marks can be used to direct a statement made (even being paraphrased) to a specific source.

Exactly! Your exact words were not quoted, merely a paraphrase of the meaning taken. Plus the demand for a "proper quote"...which infers in itself that you understand the difference between a proper quote and an "almost quote"!

    Correct!

Demeaning words carry no practical use in a discussion among adults, also "telling mommy" threats incite return rhetoric unnecessary to any discussion.

I see this all the time on the forum...and the same result happens. The thread, no matter the merit of the thread or it's content, get locked down so the discussion can't continue.

Rerun...I see a lot of good in most of your posts...I don't understand why you take offense so easily and then return the volley instead of just "walking away". We all have good and bad days. On a bad day for me...I stay away from any conversation that could evoke angry statements...like politics or religion. Perhaps this would be a concept some others could try to accomplish.....stay away or walk away when the "mood" is off!:biggrin_2558:

    Thanks Rerun and my point!

No matter where you 'find' the job on Craig's List, newpaper/swapsheets, Careerbuilder.com, the company website (and yes more and more are making you apply right on line) or walking up to a company (locally say Penske) and saying, ''hey can I put in an application?'' YOU as the job seeker have to do your homework and background (same as the company would on you!) This does NOT mean that you can't get the big long shaft sometimes as some companies/owners/HR people, what ever are ''good'' at selling a job to get a warm body.

Hopefully the OP will get some justice ( sorry OP doubt it) but at least know there are a bunch of folks here at TTR that feel your pain.
