Just wondering if you did research. Like keep books on your loads and fuel prices and break downs to see if you can actually make a go of it.

Factor in an IRA, and workers comp, matching your social security, and go find some health benefits and see if you can actually come out ahead.

Getting giddy is OK. Getting a plan together with FACTS is another story.

My trainer at my new job ran all the numbers with Schneider which was a lease purchase. They told him he was better off as a company driver!

That person you are dealing with is a salesperson. Probably gets a commission to get you to sign,

Are you ready to train if your miles "magically" fall off?

1 year and you are ready to do it?

Red, it all depends. I know that I was qualified one day, and it took 2 days to find out that I was approved. And when approved, they wanted me in Phoenix the next day. At the time, I was in gary. It also depends on how busy the person that does the approving is. It took me a few phone calls. If you are going to Phoenix for the truck, hope that you are taking our present truck. If not, and you are going to fly in and need the hotel, get ready to pay for that out of your pocket.

I would think qualified means pre-approved for the most part no?

i was told i qualified while i was waiting for tractor assignment as a company driver. two weeks later when i was finally assigned a tractor, i got a load to phoenix and went straight in to the recruiter's office. since i had been sitting for three weeks just prior, there was almost a hiccup in approval but the numbers from my previous months were there to prove that i like to roll. so, about three hours from walking into the office to moving into my truck.

if you meet the prerequisites and show a keen interest in following through with the lease, then you shouldn't have any doubts. (don't quote me on that. murphy likes to make a fool of me.)

I just busted up in Rosa's office and told her to put me in a truck(that I had just picked out) and a few hrs later, I was moving into it.
Although, my DM might have told her I was coming....

While we were sitting there going over the details and the paperwork, her phone was constantly ringing and going to voicemail.
Not exactly sure if waiting for Rosa to call you back is gonna be proactive enough to get it done lol
