That's the typical Cargill for ya. I'm almost to the point of refusing cargill load's because of that BS. Plus the place's are nasty as I have not seen one cargill plant in half ### decent shape.
fancypants Thanks this. -
Thats cargill anywhere.Their killing the cow while you wait. they need to have everything a driver needs. shower ,coffee, food, water. bathroom you get my point. an CLEAN. Haul alot of meat. 24 hr d/h
-
That will piss ya been their done that. sit 30+ hrs just to load for someone else.
-
The norm, its a meat plant they are all like that. You get used to the stinch after a day or so, I would go to the days inn motel or that fuel stop with the scale and park when I went to plainview. Meat plants are notorious for using up all the extra pickup time and making you run your ### off to get to the appt.

i am parked next too u,but my days are numbered here good luck, they treat the humans like pigs here, take a peak at the mens bathroom its dugusting.

Been there many times,I've called love's trying to get a truck in plainview,tx. with walmart, cargill, and all the other plants they need one bad,I ended up going to the Days inn to shower,THERE should be a law to have a few things for drivers,oh yes I'm waiting now for a load from cargill in plainview, and it's snowing and the load is late
-
YUP, That place suks big time.........................
Got there at 2pm on a FRI. load was ready at 11:00pm
on SUN nite..........

The reason alot of meat loads are late is not really the plants fault, they have an order to fill for a certain number of a certain grade of beef. They have to wait for the USDA to inspect it and grade it, and since they dont know what the grade is until they process the cow they have no way of knowing how long it will take to kill enough cows to produce enough of the certain grade that the customer ordered!
Us meat haulers deal with it but I hope I was able to explain why this happens to some of you who dont have alot of experience haulin beef!
