Everybody either got governed, or stopped speeding to conserve fuel. Plus, PA bears are alot sneakier than they used to be. Don't worry about finding them. Keep running over the speed limit and they'll find you.

Wonder what the CSA points are for speeding?

and you wonder why drivers have such a bad reputation???
    :biggrin_25512:
It only takes 1 reckless, irresponsible steering wheel holder to ruin all the hard work of the multitudes of professional drivers.

I wouldn't worry about him, Dave. Chances are he'll get nailed, and either slow down or be out of a job. PA is getting real strict on big trucks these days, due to budgetary reasons. Gotta get that money from somewhere, ya know!

Actually, haven't been to Mass in three years. Haven't been on the Mass turnpike in over ten.

Yes, I drive governed trucks. I prefer to run with a larger company, and all their trucks are governed these days. I stay in the slow lane, and enjoy my ride.

I was offering a warning to you. States are getting poorer, and trucks are an obvious source of income. That's why it's now called compliance, and not safety. Keep running over the speed limit, and see how much it costs you. Me and my governed truck will be sure to wave as I drive on by. That is, of course, if I get stuck going to New England again.

Really you are missing my point!
You are breaking the law by speeding (no doubt that isn't the only law you are breaking! I believe you mentioned "paper logs" in another thread, implying that you operate beyond HOS regulations as well!)

This is why ALL drivers have this bad reputation for being outlaws and reckless!

actually I drive a spotter truck less than 1/2 MILE from one dock to another. 8 hours, paid for EVERY THING I DO, overtime after 8 hours and I go home every night.

(BTW I was OTR before you even got your drivers liscense!)

    Wargames Thanks this.
