i know in pa a dog gets a free pass of firt time, my german shepard maximus has one strike, also depends on circumstances too tho i mean one strike on a minor to semi minor attack, im not talking about killing a child or a adult and dog gets a one time pas, no u know what i mean, but there is ways around it, say you have a dog and he has a strike already and bites another person, you have to bring the dog to get put down, all you do is go to a shelter far away and adopt a german shepard close to the one you have with apparances, and you give them that one to get put down

Yeah but is it really worth the chance of being sued? I mean I can understand if it was an instance where someone spooked the dog and got bit or something along those lines, and it got blown out of proportion, but if your dog is really viscous, shouldn't they thing of others safety?

Polish, are you kidding me??
You would adopt an animal who has been evaluated for good temperament and is only in need of a loving home, portray yourself as that home provider, take that animal out of the shelter with promises to take care of that animal....with the only purpose in mind being to kill it?? That sounds subhuman to me.
Only so you can "save" an animal with a proven history of aggression.
Wow. Sometimes I forget that such people actually exist.Joetro, CertifiedSweetie, Hammer166 and 5 others Thank this. -
Good point! That thought totally escaped my mind!

That is some solid reasoning. I will adopt this dog from the shelter then have him killed to save my dog, who cant behave himself.

OK...let's say that three black labs attacked a german shepard and his owner... stopped for a second, then came back... and the owner felt scared enough for his safety and that of his dog that he shot one of the black labs and scared the other two off.
Does that make everyone feel better? Get your feelers off your sleeve, and realize that the pit bulls weren't at fault here, their owner was. The guy couldn't control his dogs, THREE of them, off leash.. pretty stupid. -
I have three African lions and I let them play in the park with no leash all the time. They haven't bit anyone yet... what's the harm?

I'm very surprised at your comment here IROC. I am assuming that you are pointing the finger at me, since your reply is right under my post and I can see how someone NEW to the forum might have taken my post wrong.
But I have posted on here before about pitbulls not being an "inherently bad" or "dangerous" dog.
