Well, that's it. The time for wondering, ########, crying and whining is over. I am officially waiting to pick up my first load since returning to driving. The 4 hour drive up here was fine, though I sincerely wish I had the time and money for a refresher course. I remembered backing surprisingly well (got it into an enclosed dock on ramps on the third try), but my shifting has gone to ####. Now if they'll just get me loaded so I can get home tonight...

    Everett Thanks this.

What is your need to go back to trucking?
I see you drove for 6 years, do you still have a CDL ?

Even though you have 9 yrs exp. You are still going to have to take a refresher course because you have not been driving for the past 6 yrs.
Just thought I would mention that just in case you were not aware of it.
If I am wrong or you find someone who will take you without the refresher by all means let me/us know.
