Good until i got to Detroit, then I almost had put some air in my seat.
No, it flexes great. It just doesn't sag like the other brands.
None of the axles steer, pics were taken with the lift axles up.
lol, I mainly take those pics to harass the local Reitnouer salesman.
What is the Best/worst brand Flatbed trailers out there?

Those trailers a very cheap, compared to european trailers. Some flatbeds are more than €140.000.
Like this one here.

The trailer in the pics I posted is the exact same as almost any spread axle flat in any state in the country. The only difference is it has 2 more axles which are mainly for Michigan. The topic of the thread was "what is the best/worst brand flatbed trailers out there" I think having almost 80k sitting in less than 3' of trailer and still holding it's arch proves what's the best and I challenge anyone to post pics proving me wrong. We could post pics of "specialized" trailers all day but that wasn't the topic of the thread.
If you like specialized here's the new 4 axle Cat truck rated for millions of pounds. The EU guys should like it because it's sort of a cabover!
DL550CAT, 07-379Pete, V8SuperDog and 1 other person Thank this. -
related to this big cat.... i more like to talk about road trucks
i know for those setups in US with 5-7-11 axle and their weights
but i am surprised with fixed axles this kills your tire, axles and even chassis , i can understand that you dont have need for active steered axles but self steerable are not something special....
those trucks from my images are not legal anywhere in EU you need to have permit for them
also i am very familiar with high concentration loads ( i am mechanical engineering student and occasional driver(3-5day week sometimes more sometimes less)
but in this case that axle below helps a lot
btw how much is it heavy empty and what kind of axles it have and how much weight it is rated gross ( 5th wheel load+axles)
and can you tell me what is made of which material -
The front 2 axles lift and are basically useless in Ohio, unless they are steerables and then the permit is so goofy its more of a headache than anything. John doesn't need a permit to run that trailer unless he is gonna be over 80k, except in Michigan, then you don't need a permit, just extra axles.
As for the weight of the outfit,, thats gonna vary depending on what your have.
The trailer is aluminium if thats what you was wondering. -
I gotta 85000 lbs coil on in the pic below. It aint no big deal.
I just cant show ya but its in there..........you do believe me, dont ya?Attached Files:
