So CRST orientation in Fontana ends tomorrow...

I have to say I've been seriously wowed by the cleanliness of the place, the professionalism I've encountered there, and the forward thinking in evidence wherever I look!

Tomorrow I get my ID, and hopefully my trainer assignment. If my trainer is anything like the rest of the people I've met at CRST Fontana, this is going to be a cakewalk, and I'm thinking I'm going to be making about $70k this first year... at a minimum.

I'm guessing that if my trainer is true to form in the context of paralleling the CRST Fontana yard and the people who work there, He or She will become a friend for life that I can count on when the chips are down, who will be able to teach me ALL the ins and outs of the biz in LESS than my 28 days out with them, as well as buy all my lunches and do my laundry when we're not rolling.

Go to the DMV and get the Commercial Driver's Handbook and read it a few times. It's boring, but there is a lot in there that you'll need to know. On day 3 of your training you'll be at the DMV taking tests... I had to take 6 INCLUDING the Class C and Class M because it had been more than a year since I'd taken them.

I actually went to Premier, which is the driving school CRST uses for overflow.
