    For the pickup 102" whip..
For the big truck Predator 10K..

If you want one antenna for both just buy a Wilson but check your swr's on BOTH vehicles before you do any rachet jawing..

both are good choices but I would reverse those to 102 on the Big truck
and the 10K on the 4wheeler

The 10K's are hard to manage on most of the late model
    truck chassis.
10K's need open space and the more the better,
they dont like tree branch's or small birds

The 10K is about the easiest antenna I've ever tuned on any vehicle, a 102" will present some clearance issues on a big truck that will need to be worked out..

I've got a 10k PREDATOR on my 379 PETE, best antenna I've ever had.

I stopped at the TA that is 15 miles from my house, not really sure if the Wilson 2000 is a complete ready to install antenna or not but they were priced at like $75.00 and not the $29 or $39 that folks were saying on here. They add on the TA web site said they were supposed to be $29 with a $10 mail in rebate.

Does anyone have any info on this? Is it a complete package or do you also have to buy a mount, and is it still $39??

    Thank you

They still make them as far as I know. Google "cowtown antennas", and you should find them.

Its likely the old price thats still on the package, many places gouged
    the Wilson line for years.

I would get them clear on the price and if they do indeed sell
them for $29,I would buy acouple at that price.

It is very likely they have the old style Wilson's is known for
(pre-Barjan)and your money would be well spent.

I wouldn't even think of a 102 on a big truck. There is no place to mount it were it would work correctly and not be taking out small aircraft as you go down the road.

Never tried a 10K so can't really comment on it. I hear they are good antennas.

As far as the Wilson prices at the truck stops. Well sometimes they are on sale for 29-39 bucks and sometimes they are not. They are nto really a plug and play style antenna. If you want plug and play then check out the francis fiberglass antennas. They work fairly well but are not the best when it comes to durability against objects or if you live in an area with lots of snow in the winter.

Most all antennas will need a mount of some sort unless you go with a magnet mount.
