I just inquired about a run across Canada, I found advertised. Toronto to Vancouver, and back, team, I am doing something very similar now.
I am curious more than anything...
It is a broker. Offering $1.52 per mile both ways, 4 times a month, team. He's offering a t-check fuel card? meaning a fuel surcharge?
I will call them tomorrow, but what I was curious about was......
What is your typical surcharge? at $1.52 per mile?
round trip is 5400 miles.
I have never gotten a surcharge, never been in a position to get it.
Typical fuel surcharge

FSC should be around .70 cpm for across Canada freight. Fuel is around $1.25/ litre isn't it?
-
That is what I was guessing it was. Not a bad deal then I suppose.
My fuel figured at 5 mpg is .90
I actually get 7.X-9 on the flats.
Thank you sir,

I think the T Chek card is a perk he is offering to you at a cost/deduction of course.

I am guessing this is to make it easier, the savings are instant, and the rest comes of my pay.
