Also looking at a 99 kw t600 with n14, 3.55 13 speed, 300k on oh.. pretty good shape good documented history. If it had the 3406e id b all over it cuz I know I could do a tweak program on the ecm.

I was thought to believe that the C motor had a electronics for the throttle but mechanical injectors.

Btw the w9 dual exhaust has not been changed to free flow....wondering if it would help much.

The b model cat (7FB serial# range) had the best acceleration and response of the mechanicals. The c model had the bigger rod journals but suffered from a little less timing and conservative fuel settings (emissions). The first gen electronic (half electric engines some call them) were called the PEEC. The PEEC had an electronic throttle pedal and electronic timing control.

I knew I was RIGHT! "License To Kill" better go check under his hood again cause he claims there is "NO" electronics on a "C" motor.

Yeah I think from all ur guys feedback ill stay away from the c model, may give this t6 a closer look...however when I look at them I can't decide if I like how they look lil bit on the fugly side. I may have to do some more research on the n14..found a 96 western star with n14 13 speed good cond and doesn't have that goofy curve roof as in later years. Wanting a hood this time...this used truck market is kinda nuts having a heck of a time finding a 379 that isn't overpriced pre egrs. Saw a 99 pete on ebay no motor no tranny no wheels no 5th wheel ...10500. Crazy
