Hello everyone,
Im new to the forums and have a issue with my 03 Freightliner Columbia AC.
i tried to recharge it, and everything was working fine. then started driving and had no ac at all. It seems like i have an electrical problem. I need some advice on what to do with it. Can some please help me out.

You first need to see if the AC compressor is cycling. Does the clutch engage and disengage. If not is there electrical power going to the compressor/clutch? If not that's where you need to start finding why there is no power...fuse/circuit breaker

when a/c quits, is the blower motor still blowing air out the vents good? if not, it maybe freezing up. have you checked the a/c cab filters? are you sure the system has the right amount of freon in it?

What about when A/C works while parked but when driving down the road it doesn't?
Any ideas??? -
Not enough refrigerant in the system.

I would get it into a shop and have them do a leak test. They put a die into the system and run it. Then they shine a black light on the system and the leak will flouresce. Saves a ton of guess work.

I got a issue when parked ac work great but when start driving ac goes out , air is blowing but not cold ? Any ikeas

I vacuum the system and recharge the freon one day ago
