Yes you are right. They should not ticket the driver and drivers should be allowed to run as many hours a day as they want.........(((SARCASM))))

Right now it's 60 and sunny, loving it here in SoCal!...

Actually not bad, when it's bad I may go slower than the avg driver but I get there safe and sound...I find communicating with my dispatch and receivers has allowed me to relieve the self-imposed pressures I may put on myself, I definitely don't allow others to pressure me like yelling at me on the CB to go faster down the snowy hill, I go as fast as I think I can go safely then reduce that by 5mph! :biggrin_25525:

What, you don't believe you should have to scale a load, or don't know how? All that time devoted to fudging logbook practice, I mean..

You have 21 years driving, right. You have been around the block, you know how to tell the dispatcher to shove it. Cops have nothing to do with anything but enforce the law. Your company is a POS, for having their drivers run illegal.

Diesel Cops know all to well for the most part that truckers are long haul they do not have the time to go to court and fight tickets. Easy revenue for the ones who do not follow regulations or speed zones. Sounds as if your company could care less about you as a driver and they have a high turn over, am I right? If you are that willing to live in fear and work for a company that is more concerned about their customers or the commodities that you are hauling then it's time to look for another employer. Remember this is how you make a living. :biggrin_25513:
