Dispatched last night to Springfield for a load that is not actually going to load today. SO the sages at Driver Line-up found me a different load. Now gonna try for a nap, then go to Kraft about 8pm for a load to Lewiston, ME... all night driving for a few days! Due at WM in Lewiston at 5:18am Thursday. Don't you love those precise appointment times at WalMart?

 

Ya know why it was so dang slow? Because it WAS C&S hiding out as "Safeways."

So, I'm at the pit also known as Jessup at the TA waiting for the gubbermint 4-wheelers to go hibernate for the night. Then its down to Richmond for dead chickens, and off to the sun and welfare juice capital of America... Florida

i sat on one load of waffles for 8 days while they figured out where they wanted it to go after i showed up # the drop and they said it was supposed to go somewhere else lol its ok tho cause my FM broke them in half with detention lol
the load only originaly paid 1100 total for 1000 miles....i thought i was gonna b in the hole badly after having that as my only load for the week ....i ended up with a 1400 settlement after all exp/

Deliver is Thursday in Chattanoga, TN...

I will be in SPRIMO sometime next week, maybe as early as this weekend.

NE-2 Eastbound connection to I-29 on the Iowa side of the river is one lane away from being flooded. Water was to the centerline on two stretches... the truckstops were completly wrapped in plastic covered dirt berms.

The levees are leaking and could breach. If that happens you can expect I-29 to get shut down...
