SOunds like they may be requiring a certain period of time where you are contracted to work for them. SOmetimes that is no problem, sometimes you get the crappy routes and crappy trucks etc... because they know you can not leave.

But of course, maybe I've only heard that because complaints are most all of what you hear.

Eh man, I put up with the bull crap by managers who are straight from college with no experience about Logistics, Guest Relations, etc etc. Just because they have a degree in hand, they are put in charge of a multi-million dollar store / operation with little real hands on training. I had one manager who worked in the AM as a second shift manager ask me if I knew the disarm code for the receiving doors... Which is only known by managers...

I tend to get heated about situations I run into at work, I don't vent there, but here it's a different store. Hell though, only thing I can do is suck it up and push on. As for the CDL Training, I doubt that will train you incorrectly. They might want you to sign a 1 - 2 year agreement and in return they lower your cost of schooling.

Since it seems this question hasn't been answered.

To contact Swift, call 800-800-2200, option 1, then option 1 again. If nobody answers, call the main number and select option 1 then option 0 for the operator. Request recruiting or, ask for Veronica by name.

It appears SNI might be moving forward for you.

I appreciate the information! After I finish up school tonight I could call, but it may need to wait until tomorrow.

As per your last comment about SNI...I have to say I am a little confused. Haha. I am thinking more along the lines of Millis Transfer now, simply because of the job, the costs, and the training times. Not only that, but it seems I only see good things posted about them!

Trying to call after hours will net you the same message you've been getting. They go home between 4:30 and 5pm. I haven't heard many complaints about Millis. Just keep in mind, though, every company has BS that must be tolerated.

Oh, of course. That is why I said I may call them today. As it stands now, obviously, I cannot! Haha. So tomorrow it is. At this rate though, I get off work tomorrow at 4:30, so I may have to wait until Monday or Tuesday.

I do realize that all companies have BS to deal with, believe me! However, one cannot fault someone for looking for the least amount of BS, amirite?
