motorcycles at 120 mph crashes with double semi

idiots on their crotch rockets doing ramps---usually they go by so fast you can hardly see them--then they go up the ramp--back the other way then do it all over again
young and indestructable--until somethiing like this happens

 

I bet he doesnt have the guts to do that again

 

Some bozo on a crotch rocket was doing ramps Wednesday and cut me off,I gave him the horn and he gave me the finger.Those anger management classes really paid off for me.

 

I just read the story. Were doing 120 mph as clacked by a NY Trooper and they don't think they were doing anything wrong. They are lucky that only 2 of them got killed. The bikes could have just as easyly bounced off a set of tandems and gone back throgh the group they were riding with and taken them all out. Well we will just have to pray for the families and hope that we are not the next driver. Because with the attude these jerks have these 2 will not be the last ones from thier group to die.

 

I don't get it either. Just because the bikes can go well over 100 mph does not mean that you have to drive them that fast when the laws have speed limits in place.

These #### things need to have unbypassable speedlimiters in place. I have never seen a guy on one of these rockets going less then 25 over the speedlimit and not weaving recklessly in and out of traffic. My electraglide can go over 115 mph on gps. I have checked it out on a long quiet back road in the country were there was no one around for MILES.

One thing that really get me is that in some states motorcycles are allowed to lane split which means they can pass between two moving vehicles on the center line. That and they are allowed to pull up next to cars etc ont he line at a stop light etc.

These actions should never be allowed EVER in any state. How many times have you been rolling down the road only to have one of these idiots come zipping between you and another vehicle with less then a ft on either side of the motorcycle??? I bet you have if you have driven through California because it is legal for them to do it. Even the slightest miss judgment or a tire blow on your rig, would put them under your duals and you sitting ont he side of the road for hours.

 

If the deceased were fat middle aged guys on Harleys doing something stupid would this thread still be going on ??

I think they should auction off all assets of that idiot motorcyclist and give the money to the innocent truck driver who has to live with this the rest of his life.

I had a guy doing a wheelie in front of me one night in KC, if he'd of fallen, I'd of just had the FD come out and hose what was left off of the interstate.

 

The vid came out in 2003 as I recall. The carload of NY 'sightseers' wouldn't even stop to help....
