I know what receiver that was, and in the MAC19 directions for it it was clearly stated to go park at the drop lot, not at the receiver if delivering here, and that was at least a year and a half ago (the directions, not the theft).

Delivered at the WalMart DC in Lewiston, ME (drop and hook). Now sitting at the truck stop in Auburn, waiting to see what the Wheel spins for me in the morning. Beautiful drive up from NY today. Got to stop in NH and reminisce about my childhood with my wife. She has never been up here. Bless her heart!

I was told to go there for REPAIR never said I stayed there. If I was staying I was given a secure lot to go park in. I heard about the no parking there hence the reason I had already thought ahead and got the secure lot even though I was empty but running team we really do not sit either. Thanks for looking out though...... The Petro was a pay to use so seemed pretty secure. oh well

Like Sazook says, we can go where we like - unlike the company guys. However, I think that needs to be tempered with a little thought - there is more responsibility for our equipment and loads placed on us because of that freedom. Security doesn't like Atlanta, Dallas and Memphis in particular because of the propensity for equipment and load theft. Some of those places used to be a lot worse a few years ago before the truckstops started hiring private security.
OTOH, a lot of our high value rules came into effect after broad-daylight equipment and load thefts in well-travelled truckstops. Of course, those guys were ignoring the rules in effect at the time too... -
On his way to Newark with a load of taters!! Nice long run before some long awaited home time!

Ringgold, GA. Unloaded my frozen potato products, trailer washed out and parked with only 45 min left on my 70.
Construction on I57 south, south of Mt. Vernon IL ate up over an hour yesterday... Nashville morning and Bonnaroo (Manchester TN on I24) ate up another 45 min.
Quite a few vintage, Pre-World war II and older cars in downtown Chattanooga. Some event called The Great Race... interesting watching them go by while I sat in a dock.
Oh, I should be in Springfield on Wed. If not sooner. -
TA in Seffner FL. Going to catch an 8 and move my hours into tomorrow. That'll start smoothing out my recap a little...

Prepping to leave Portland, Or and drive into Salt Lake City for Monday Orientation.
BBradUMA Thanks this. -
Exhausted after a 4-drop route in New England for WalMart out of Lewiston (Methuen and Lynn, MA; Woonsocket, RI; Rindge, NH). Traffic, bad directions, badly loaded pallets... all added up to using all 14 hours and still not back at the DC! Will take the trailer back there this morning, and see what is next.
