Sorry to hear all that. gl to ya:biggrin_255:

If your trainer had a brain he could have used a tool called communication. Something not working right, call road repair and fm tell them you need a load to get routed through a terminal to handle it. Can be done with minimal impact on work week if done properly.

But that might interfere with trainers "home time"

    Colorato,
Are you getting training pay or are you getting a percentage of the truck? I thought that you got training pay for everyday you are away from the house. At least, you should be getting breakdown pay.

If they left you home for an entire week w/o pay, and w/o a decent excuse... well, I don't blame you. I would have quit too. No excuse for a week full of "the run-around".

This does not sound like the TMC I knew. I was treated pretty decently during my time w/them. I've even been thinking of asking to go back. I can't seem to find a local driving job that works for me...

    Good luck to you.

I've been with the new company for 2 weeks now. I went to Venture Logistics out of Indianapolis, IN. Much smaller, they only have 400 trucks vs 4000. It's a totally different atmosphere here. Everyone is nice and down to earth. Thanks for asking.

Thinking of working for these guys. Was wondering how high off the ground you are when you get on top of the crate container? I'm a little afraid of heights so would hate to get all the way there and fail for that reason. I used to work at a truck wash and had to get on top of pneumatic tankers to wash them out and could handle that

13'6", its not bad. A lot of places tmc goes to have fall protection now but some dont. Its just to make sure you dont totally freek out atop a load.
