CR England! LOL. I've served my time there and KLLM is nothing like England!!! I've been at KLLM for a year next month and an LP truck for 9 months! Best move I've ever made. $$$![]()

Yeah, I'm sure you're just rolling in the dough. Enjoy your minimum wage sharecropper program and making all of that money for the big boys in the office. The idea for an owner operator is not to let the company drive the hell out of it and make money off of it for 350,000 miles then go on a program where you buy it from them, pay for fuel, pay for repairs (and you WILL pay for them in one way or another). But with all of those big bucks you're making it will be easy I'm sure. Wait till you smoke a transmission or blow a turbo and sit in Jackson for a week and half then drive to Meridian, only to find yourself sitting on the roadside because they didn't fix it properly. As for KLLM I was there about as long as you have been and roadtoad's been there a much longer while. And she's on the old L/P program where they made alot more of that money than you do, since they chopped the pay per mile and increased payments. I'm sure she didn't just make things up. She's fought for that company when no one else would put up with their crap. You may keep your head above water for a while, but you will NEVER come out on top. It ain't designed to work that way. The company ALWAYS wins. They are in it from top to bottom to make money. That includes making money on YOU. But I guess you'll find that out sooner or later.trucker43 and Jarhed1964 Thank this. -
wow i am doing fine on the l/p program.. no problems here and as for kllm.. i like were i am at. here to stay. who cares whats in the past with kllm. i move freight for them and get paid to do my job. there money trouble (if they have any) is there problem not ours or ours to judge.. if its a big deal call them or go work somewere else.. i use to complaine on here till i realized, hey that has nothing to do with me or hey this is my fault. so later yall i got some gear jamming to do for KLLM....

Lease is good, but if you get an older truck be sure to get the bumper to bumper warranty. Miles a week are around 2800 plus//not to much drop and hook at all.

My uncle was on the old lease plan when you had to pay 1,000 to get in a truck.

I am heading to Jackson, MS Monday 7-18-11 to begin orientation and expect to participate in their L/P program. The recruiter told me that we would spend the first three days at the hotel where we would be staying. (What will we be doing there?) I also need to know if they will dispatch immediately after completing orientation Friday. I was wanting to know a couple things: first, the recruiter told me today that they wouldn't take any payments out for first two weeks. Second, he told me that they would fill the truck up with diesel at their own expense the first time. These two things seem too generous to be true. I would appreciate it if anyone is able to give me some insight into these things. Thanks.
