Drivers' Signature on Blank BOL at Shippers' !!!?

    its called PRELOAD,driver signed only to take responsibility of the load
    and its legal weight to Consignee.

    of course its called a preload--and some officers dont seem to like it if you werent the one that loaded it

    It won't stand up in court. Never been a problem but until you end up in court you will soon see that the law means SFA.

    I had a judge completely disregard the "Carriers Maximum Limit of Liability" as stated on every BOL and as is detailed in the Truck Transportation Act and the Bill of Lading Act.

    And here's hoping you never have to find out if it will pass a judges scrutiny.

    i tried at mcdonald's, but they wouldn't hire me suggesting i was basically too dumb to work there, and advised me to rather take my chances in the trucking industry. so, here i am...

    With some practice you, too can learn to sign everything "S. Load&count" just like it was your name. Been doing it for years, never been noticed. Fight back, fight dirty. They do, you're only defending yourself.
