    No love for orange 'eh.....?:biggrin_2552:
I've done this dock 4 times now,the pics were my first time there,it hasn't gotten any easier though.
Good thing I drive an ugly old orange truck,I'd be nervous in something nice lol.

With 1 year driving, I would say, job well done. But I think what really helped,is being 54 years old. You probably had past experience. Boat trailers, ect. For a guy with only 1 year, GREAT job.

It took a little bit of time for me to get used to the sight picture in my mirrors and where my truck was, but once I got those, it's not too bad....If it's real tight, I just G.O.A.L. as needed...Proficient blind backing just takes some experience(i.e. situations that require it, not time on the road)....IME, when it's been tight between trucks, help is readily available and often offered and as long as I know the person is the driver of one of the trucks I'm going between, I'll take their help...

Ive been doing this for almost 38 years, and last week, I had to G.O.A.L. 3 times, #### it, 3 times, and had 4 wheelers, and A Mini 6 wheeler, and Fed/Ex sit and watch me. 3 Freaking times I had to G.O.A.L. So, any one with very little experience, Dont feel bad if you have to do the same. I was PISSED. But I had to know where my back was at. I think I know what my problem was. I G.O.A.L , but when I got back in the truck, I FORGOT WHAT I WAS LOOKING AT. Dont get old. Sometimes, really Pisses me off.

LadyTrucker2go, Keep trying, and ALWAYS, G.O.A.L. Ill tell you the truth, I hate it, when I have to G.O.A.L. but It keeps my Perfect driving record going. I think a couple of times, It took me 6-7 times I had to G.O.A.L.
but that was quiet a while ago. If your not sure G.O.A.L. You wont regret it. If you only move that truck 3 feet, and then you dont know where the back end it at, G.O.A.L. , #### I hate the word (G.O.A.L.):biggrin_2559:

Yepper, never been to any of the caves anywhere, luckily I never will be now. Backing into those covered docks in the winter with snow and bright sun were always fun. I can imagine in those underground things I'd have a REAL hard time. Claustrophobia is me!!!:biggrin_2559:
