JC Penny Dedicated (Statesville, NC) ??

I was sent there to help out when they first started.And I loved it.I run Wal-Mart dedicated for SNI but all there loads are lite.The people at the stores were great very nice.When you pull in THEY were out side opening the doors on the trl for me B4 I got out of the cab!I know this sound to good to be true.But this did happen on several occasions.When I was sent there I was dreading it but it was a great experience.Delivery times are tight so if you get held up for ANT reason call in and let ops know.Hand unloading consisted of standing on a step ladder and handing garments to JCP employees.Not back breaking work.All recyclables go back to the warehouse.50 bucks per load for hand unload.But that was when they first started up though so it has been awhile.So I don't know if any changes since then.Take care.

 

I am on the dedicated Penney acct. in Plainfield. I agree with cool dude. I love this acct.! It is by far my favorite job in the last 15 years of trucking. And, of course, they are closing this DC. Not for another year, but it will be ending. I may wind up moving to Statesville, or possibly Lakeland, FL. Just to keep doing it!
