I can back my transfer dump, which is 2 pivots instead of just 1. It's quite simple once the skill is learned, but doubles are 10 times as hard. Those guys have skills. But my transfer I can put around corners and back in line with the rest of the parked rigs.

    Wargames Thanks this.

There is a bunch of limitations the LCV's have... Everything from advanced braking systems to times/days to routes to qualifications etc.... The only thing I don't agree on with these is I think that once you have qualified to operate one if you switch companies you have to be retested by the new company (much like our dangerous goods).. I think it should be an endorsement on our licences like the air brakes..

They are limited like I said.. So for instance they can't cross Toronto during rush hours times. They cannot come thru Toronto on long weekends. They can only go to certain roads and places which are described in the rules. They can't run in the winter months or bad weather. They have to stay at 90km or less and must travel far right lane unless they need to pass or there is a emergency vehicle. They must have disc brakes from what I understand as well. They are not for heavy hauling they are for high volume low weight loads..

I have seen the highways closed for accidents and whatnot.. These LCV's can't take other routes. So if everyone is getting off the highway to take another route (trucks and cars) these LCV's are not allowed to do it.. So if there is an accident and highway is closed for 6hours or whatever they have to stay there the whole time...

If I can back a trailer with a dolly attach to it precisely (A train), then I think if given the chance I can back up a set of double (B train)... So I kinda think that's the limit, and to back a set of A train double is simply nuts...

    But look at this:
