Huff and Puff Bradeyville TN?

huff&puff where to start i dare say they are the biggest pack of liers and crooks in the trucking industry low turnover thats a joke there pay is in the low 30 cpm mark and they will run you as illegal as possible they dont care how sleepy or dangerouse you are on the highways as long as you put money in that fat cats pocket i will say one thing for them they make sure you have plenty of loose leaf logs they know you need em running they way you have to with them like theother guy said as long as you dont get caught if you do your own your own

 

Looks like ol gruff is just a little digruntled.

Truth is the fat cat cares more about his drivers than any owner in the industry. He knows every driver and most wives by name and I know for a fact he takes care of his guys outside of work. Show me a busines owner that runs his business not to make money. if he dont get the frieght, we got nothing to haul and 'sorry no load' dont pay my bills. been there, done that with more than one company. Difference is that huff and puff works get you thru the house and still make a good check. and average pay with all the extras is more like 40 cpm. hey, trucking is a tough no matter who you work for and all companies have good/bad. Huff and Puffers are pros, not everybody is gonna make it in this business, with this company or any other.

Any company that sized sending recruiters to CDL mills for drivers deserves a brick of salt.

I know on the radio their drivers regularly discuss "making it work" on runs, and spend considerable time ducking Manchester scales.

 

Heck,who doesn't duck the manchester scales min this part of the country?

 

Me for one. Never had a problem.

Frankly do not see why people complain so much about them. Besides log book checks I never see them do anything but weigh. But alas when they get the new one up and running over on 65 they have a new boogey man to worry over with big fancy inspection bays and all.

 

They have more home time than that! My husband is usually home late Thurs or early Fri and doesn't leave out until Sun (diffferent times) or even a Monday.

I loaded structural steel out of a place in Tn... I seen a pile of Huff & Puff trucks grabbing pre loaded trailers there... And even last week i seeen a bunch of them headed north with building stuff, So i bet that place is one of there main customers.

I grabbed my load that went to wisconsin, And when i got to the farm where the building was going up, There were 3 Huff n puff trucks there already... One was unloaded, One was being unloaded, And one was waiting to be unloaded.. They all had I-Beams on, I had sheet steel, So the unloader guy decided to start unloading me before the other Huff N Puff guy...

I now know where the name comes from.. That ol' hillbilly was just a Huffin & Puffin on the CB about how i was gettin unloaded and he wasn't!!!

I answered back that if he had an issue to take it up with the unloaded guys, as i didn't care to hear his whining..

Everytime i see one of those trucks i just laugh...
