I agreed we you right up until the end, Whosedog. But that's a whole different thread. Anyway, no I didn't end up going with May. Not because of anything they did, they were nothing but nice. But I was able to locate a job driving for a local beer distributor. I work a lot harder, but I'm home at night and I get a paycheck every week. Thanks for asking.

And therein is where your lifelong dream began it's downward spiral my friend.:yes2557: When a recruiter's lips are moving, 95% of the time they're spewing manure.(The other 5% of the time they're eating.)

Forget class action, if you think YOU have a legal action, gopher it...Why would you need others?...And you're an ex-cop, I'm sure you know some lawyers, maybe one you let off driving drunk one night that would do it for ya! :biggrin_25520:

I appreciate the advice walstib. But I have to be honest. Thoughout my career I always believed in using my discretion and offering a fair bit of professional courtesy. However it was always offered to other law enforcement, medical personal, firefighters and CDL holders. The last people I would think of giving a break to would be lawyers, followed closely by politicians. I think I am going to look into finding a good one though or maybe an investigative reporter who would like to look into their practices a bit.

    Rollover the Original Thanks this.

We had a Trans Am recruiter come to Premier Cdl to talk to our class and my instructor asked him about the very thing you are talking about, forcing people into the lease option and the recruiter said " Yeah they are pushing the lease program pretty hard" . We all got up and left him to talk to the first week students( it was my last week of CDL school)

On top of everything else, I got a bill from my accountant telling me that I owe taxes on the money that Transam never paid me. WTF.
