Hiiii

Hello all. I'm currently a student trying to get my cdl through a technical college. I'm also a trucker's girlfriend. I'm about 3 1/2 weeks into school. It's very interesting. Since I'm a trucker's girlfriend I'm constantly hearing about the trucking industry and how it works. I can tell my teacher hasn't been in the trucking world for years because he gives out a lot of misinformation. I don't think he's done OTR either cause he doesn't seem to know much about. My 2 faves are...You're going to make a lot of money in this industry and OTR drivers don't have to stay out for weeks at a time anymore. That's almost unheard of nowadays. You'll only have to stay out for a long time when you're being trained. Yes I giggled as he said this. I have to say the driving part of school is fun. We just started driving with trailers last week. Gah I can't picture turning at an intersection yet. A few more weeks to go and hopefully I will have a cdl in my hand
