I filled out my app online to Millis Transfer on Wednesday, got a call from Alice from recruiting on Thursday. Just wondering what current Millis drivers think about Alice. I have to fax her my previous w2 statements to her in order to get the ball rollin and will do that and hopefully be part of the team.

Alice is awesome.............what more do you want to know? She's a very very busy person so expect her to be short on time and such. But if anyone can get it done - she can!

    Southernman86 Thanks this.

Nothing but kudo's for all of them there. I've talked to all of them and as Baritone said, they are all busy. Don't take it the wrong way if they don't hold your hand through the process or questions. They have a lot going on but all were very helpful with me.

Well - as it is very, very late and I want to get the ball rolling early tomorrow.. I'll keep this post short and sweet (although it's been quite a while since a proper post)..

    but to the point,

Graduated last week, first load down to ATL for home time(spent about four days)... tooled up the truck, washed down the interior (so bad what cigs do to your body and the environment around you!) and I have a nice clean mt with less than six months and no crabbing to haul and d/h somewhere. Found my way to Weedsport last Wend. (should have been a day earlier but hey, that's trucking!) picked the only truck that was available at the moment, from two, a nice 2006 T2 with 680k+ and - now I've added my personality to the interior (pics to follow soon(er or later))

So... 6108 - hit me up if you see me rolling in, and no I don't have a CB... debating that expense at the moment. Looking to get a power inverter first, then a laptop with a aircard for the next major expenses. * noted * dm says i might wait to get the next truck in six (or so) months before I install the inverter to avoid downtime X3 for the wait in BRF... I think I should get it cause it sucks not having a way to cook out of the truck, and I've been at a few pickup/drops where I was out of time or they weren't ready or etc.. you can't go anywhere under load... I want to cut down on my outflow of cash on the meals I'm spending $15-20 a pop at (tips included).

Anyway - getting off to go get what vittles I can work with for now stocked in the truck.

P.S. CONGTRAZ David on the anniversary. Looking forward to it myself.

Congrats dark knight. I was waiting for something to show up on your post so was surprised to see it here. Couple of things: cb can be much less than either of the other expenses u mentioned. Could get one for$ 40 that'll get the job done. As far as meals go pic up a burton digital stove to go for$ 40 at any of the major t/s we fool at. u can get the lesser on for ten buck less but I like my digital its a little bigger and you always know temp. U can Cook anything u can imagine and some of these microwave meals just as fast if not faster in some cases even do a slow roast from scratch with a fresh cut of meat or fry some eggs. Remember not every meal has to be a hot one take that$ 20 and stock cooler with cold meats and bread add some pb&j and cereal etc to the grocery list. Hard to keep any$ out here if gotta eat at t/s. Just do some grocery shopping and you'll get by just fine with or without inverter.
