Military fatigue conspiracy?
I'd like to see one of youse guys with the large trucker arse put on DRESS SLACKS, a DRESS SHIRT, and DRESS SHOES, and run after someone, and jump over a fence. Bend over, pick someone up off the ground, back to running... getting in and out of a car with all kinds of gear on umpteen times a day...
Much easier to do it in loose fitting, breathable fabric clothing, with tactical boots that resemble high top sneakers...
Another nerve struck (on me)... guys talking funny smack about paramilitary police and military training... AS IF the majority of the whiners complaining about how our freedoms and civil rights are being violated... have never done anything to protect our freedoms or civil rights... nor would you even pass the background check or physical to do so.
I believe this officer acted in a very dumb and dangerous manner, and I hope Injun follows through and gets some action as a result. If the guy was my partner or part of my unit, I'd corner him, tell him to cooperate fully with IA, get this thing cleared up, make sure the lady is ok, and if he ever did something like this again, he'd find himself duct taped to a chair in a motel room, with the person's family invited over to play batting practice.
A cop's job is hard enough without some moron making it harder to work with the public.
Oh wait... look at this...
A driver's job is hard enough without some moron making it harder to work with the public.
Will Never See Cops the Same Way Again

"Cops cannot detain you for a drug search, because someone said you were dealing"
Are you high? That's like saying they can't write a ticket for speeding because they didn't register mph in their eyes, their radar unit did. Of course you can be detained and questioned based on someone's complaint or information. Doesn't mean you're being arrested and convicted on that info, just questioned.
Again, though, this incident went way wrong. -

Many truckers only ability is to arm chair quarterback.. they can't think on their feet and react, but after a few hours of stewing it over... they cam come up with a better response... either verbally in the truckstop or here in the forum... someone posts something and there's always some nimrod chiming in.... "well, you know what I would have done?! I would have told that no good so and so to shove it!"
Yeah, sure you would have... and if you did, let's see how far you'd get with it.Hammer166 Thanks this. -
I have read many of her posts and they have all rang true.
Now, the question comes to mind, what if it had been you and someone was saying what you are. What would you feel about it?misc, 25(2)+2 and simplyred1962 Thank this. -
Oh....now the trucker is a tweeker... -
No LEO would have made any kind of contact without some kind of backup. The LEO's that are dumb enough to confront a suspect of any kind often end up dead. It happens, it happened right down the street from me. That said, I call B.S. -
Not one time did I claim to be unbiased in this. This is my side of the story and what was going through my mind as it unfolded. Since you were not there and not part of my thoughts, there is no way you can say what happened. I wrote the initial post to this within two hours of the end of this event. It is my version of what happened.
You know the old saw: There are three sides to every story. My side, his side and somewhere in the middle, the truth. This is my side of it and my emotions and thoughts as it unfolded. People are often asked why did they run/fight if they didn't do anything wrong? Well, here's a bit of insight.
That said. I still stand by my assessment: This guy was up to no good. Proceedure was not followed. No police officer in his or her right mind enters into a perceived dangerous situation without at least knowing backup is on the way. It was obvious I wasn't going anywhere. There was no exigent circumstance to fall back on. My truck was dark and quiet and I had the front window blocked with a sunscreen I use for privacy. I would have had to take the sunscreen down to go anywhere.inkeper, 48Packard, simplyred1962 and 2 others Thank this. -
