1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. Does anybody know of a good dedicated job in NC or SC? We are desperate to get my husband home more often. He is OTR driver with 1 1/2 years experience, and a perfect driving record. Thanks!

I just posted to someone else's thread from NC. Check out C & L Transportation, Inc out of Cornelius Ask for Danny or Becky. They are a broker. My daughter works for a company in Statesville who uses them to get their stuff hauled and they come highly recommended. They might be able to help you.

hope the c&l thing worked out. I am from sc, currently in training with werner. I came our of retirement to work for a company in sc as a mobll work crew supervisor (plastic recycling) upon returning home last nov i was told i would be laid off till early spring when we would have or own tractor/trailer with all equip mounted (instead of hiring it moved and unloaded/setting it up-about a 2 day operation) I would drive the truck and supervise the job then move equip to next jobsite.
That feel thru as the company never had the money to buy the equip and kept jerking me around as to going back as crew chief. All this after going to school to get CDL. I had to go to work soon as I would have had to take refresher course had i waited any longer, Hence the wondeful world of OTR training with Werner, Its ok but I have no intention of going otr (itw been 28 years since i drove) as i am 67 and dont need the adventure. Werner says I could probably get dedicated run in sc after my training. Are their any companies that train you on dedicated run. if not I will stick with werner but this new jersy to key west and sittin in parkin lot all weekend (no idle) gets old.
