I wish you the best. God knows we've all been luckier than smart at times in our lives. Keep it clean and straight and you'll get your chance.

Take care of that young family, and again, best of luck to you.

Not sure why everyone thinks a o/o will be any help.If an o/o has legal insurance, its the insurance companies that says yes " or" no.Any o/o with the proper dot numbers and proper insurance more likely not going to be any help, plus this guy in the insurance eyes,is a rick factor!Yes some insurance companies may be little easier, but the goods ones are not. Also i'm an o/o but I think a smart o/o is not going rick his business his truck to someone with a background like that.:biggrin_25512:

Whoever signed you up for your $5000 CDL training should be arrested.

You have 2 tickets for going 15+ over the speed limit.

    No experience

    A recent pot charge.

You have a 99% percent chance of being out $5000.

O/O's have to pay for insurance. With that record/no experience it would be difficult or expensive to even find someone to insure you. In order for someone to hire you they have to think they will be able to profit from you. With the whole insurance, training and hoping you won't give up and quit after a few weeks its not worth it.I hate to be a downer but unless it's someone you know its very unlikely.

Don't take this the wrong way but trust me when I say I know far more about the silly plant, the laws surrounding it,and how and why those laws came to be. I can easily shoot down every possible reason anyone can give for said plant to be illegal, how said plant in fact has beneficial properties, as well as give coherant arguments backed up by facts as to why there are far more dangerous substances which remain legal after numerous studies show they have little to no beneficial properties whatsoever (alcohol and tobacco) and in fact are directly responsible for more problems in this country than that silly plant ever did.

But all that is for another topic. Suffice it to say that the reactions to employers and leo to said plant are very serious, but the basis for such laws and reactions are indeed silly bordering on rediculous.

    Back to your previous topic.

EDIT: just a final note, one can obey the law without necessarily believing the law is just.

I know it from the other side from traffic accidents and others.

I was in the age where it was around school and I did not partake.

I do not believe anyone should be under the influence and driving period. Beer, or pot.

Honestly, do you want someone with that kind of driving record in a CMV? I sure don't. Besides, expungements are meant for 1 time offenders, not habitual offenders.

its past driving record..... thats y we have the ppl we have in control so special ppl dont think hey grandpa shouldnt be driving hes to old or hey he speeds to much lets not let him drive anymore either or oh he smoked pot lets ruin his life..... this is what happens when ppl watch to much t.v. speeding doesnt kill and neither does pot. i hope ppl know that alcohol kills more ppl than speeding and pot combined.

A post like this makes it appear that you haven't really learned from your mistakes. If you're trying to rationalize that behavior now, what will you do later? When somebody gives you a second chance and you finally land a job - and then you're faced with those same challenges - what will you do? Will you still try to rationalize it?
